Save Time and Money

Don’t let the phrase “private college” scare you. National data shows that liberal arts colleges give better aid, and students graduate on time at a higher rate than public universities. Here at Doane, we have a Four-Year Graduation Guarantee and offer an optional Three-Year Graduation Program. This way, students spend less time in the classroom and are on the fast-track to starting their career, graduate, or medical school.

Financing Your Education

We reward students generously for what they achieve both in and outside of the classroom. With scholarship opportunities based off academics, performing arts, leadership, athletics, mentoring and more - we're making sure Doane's world-class education is affordable to all.

Private Loans

Private education loans are non-Federal loans borrowed from a bank or lending institution. Loan terms, rates, and fees vary upon the lender. Interest rates and fees are based on the credit score of the borrower and/or co-signer. We encourage students to do their own research to determine which loan program is best suited for their needs.

Federal Work-Study (Only available for Crete Students)

Federal Work-Study is when the Federal government provides funding to colleges to provide part-time jobs for students who have demonstrated financial need. This allows students to earn money to help pay for their educational expenses. Eligibility is determined by the financial aid office, and is based on FAFSA results and meeting Doane’s Federal Satisfactory Academic Progress policy. Students have the option to work off, or on-campus with eligible agencies to receive Federal Work-Study.

Campus Employment (Only available for Crete Students)

Students do not have to demonstrate financial need to be eligible for campus employment, as Doane University pays 100% of student wages. However, only on-campus jobs are available to students.
